But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood (Ezekiel 33:6).

A New Perspective — Columns by Jamie Buckingham from The Trumpet.

On this page is a 20+year collection of short columns by Jamie that were published in The Tabernacle’s monthly (sometimes bi-weekly) newsletter, The Trumpet. Often Jamie’s early thoughts for possible book projects or magazine articles with a national audience were tried out here. His writings in The Trumpet were generally in their purist form, with hardly a touch of an editor’s pen.

While these articles were intended for the local church, Jamie’s wisdom and often prophetic exhortations still reach beyond the bounds for which they were initially designed.

They are divided into single pdf files by year for easier viewing. Though many are shown without dates, they are in chronological order.
