Harbor City Baptist Church Bulletin: Final Perspective (last words upon parting)
Posted onFinal Perspective — (March 19, 1967) Jamie’s parting words to the Harbor City Baptist Church, Melbourne, FL, that had recently fired him. More than half the congregation left the church to form the Tabernacle Baptist Church. The Tabernacle eventually dropped the name Baptist from it’s name and went on to become the largest congregation in East Central Florida.
